Who we are
With over 25 years of experience teaching infants, children, and adults, Stacy Crockett is the co-owner of our program. Her expertise in water safety and play-based swim curricula makes our lessons both engaging and effective, ensuring swimmers are safe and comfortable.
Stacy’s background in early childhood education and child and family studies, with a focus on youth work, enhances her ability to connect with swimmers and tailor lessons to their current needs. She sets small, achievable goals in each lesson to build confidence and progress toward overall swimming objectives.
Having served as a lifeguard, pool manager, and director, Stacy recognized a need for increased open water awareness in the Portland area. She is committed to addressing the high incidence of drownings caused by a lack of water knowledge through a focus on water safety in swimming lessons.
